A Bright Store is a digitally enabled kirana or retail outlet that serves both walk-in and online customers using StoreKing's Retail OS. It combines physical retail with digital convenience. The name comes as the opposite of "Dark Stores"—which are hidden, online-only warehouses—whereas Bright Stores are visible, customer-facing, and built for both offline and online retail growth.

Role Summary
The Inside Sales Manager at StoreKing is responsible for driving revenue growth by enabling retailers to adopt and succeed as Bright Stores. This is a high-impact, player-coach role where the individual not only contributes directly to sales but also builds, mentors, and leads a team of inside sales & operation executives. The role focuses on converting leads into active retail partners, ensuring strong onboarding, and driving long-term engagement with StoreKing's AI-powered Retail Operating System (ROS). The ideal candidate brings a blend of hands-on selling expertise, team leadership, and a deep understanding of B2B or SaaS-based sales in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Ownership
- Drive end-to-end sales: lead generation → demo → closure
- Sell StoreKing's Bright Store (ROS platform) to retailers, distributors, and SMEs
- Own monthly revenue and acquisition targets
Team Leadership
- Manage and scale a team of inside sales executives
- Coach team on product pitching, objection handling, and closing techniques
- Drive daily activity metrics (calls, demos, conversions)
Sales Funnel & Pipeline Management
- Build a strong, predictable sales pipeline
- Track Lead → Demo → Closure conversion and revenue forecasting
- Improve funnel efficiency and win rates
Customer Lifecycle Management
- Ensure smooth onboarding of retailers into Bright Stores
- Drive activation, repeat orders, and retention
- Identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Product, Tech & Ops to improve product adoption
- Share customer feedback to influence roadmap
- Optimize sales and operations playbooks
What We're Looking For
- 4–7+ years in Inside Sales / SaaS / B2B / Retail Tech
- 2+ years managing inside sales or telesales teams
- Strong experience in closing deals, pipeline management, and team handling
- Experience selling POS / ERP / SaaS platforms
- Exposure to FMCG / distributor networks / retail ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
